The Home of Champions For golf lovers, England's Golf Coast is something of a Mecca. This stunning stretch of coastline running from the Wirral peninsular, through Formby and Southport and up to Cumbria, has the highest concentration of championship links courses in the world.
The facts speak for themselves: three of the top 20 courses are located here, as are seven of the top 36 courses in the UK and Ireland. What's more, three of England’s Golf Coast courses are ranked in the world's top 75.
